Children's Dental Health Centre is a Calgary pediatric dental practice with north and south locations and a children's dental surgical centre. If your child's care team asks for blood work, a certified phlebotomist can collect it at home, where kids feel most comfortable.

No waiting room and no unfamiliar building. Your child can sit with you on the couch.
Let us know about anxiety, sensory needs or a favourite distraction when you book, and we will plan extra time.
We share your details only with the lab and the provider on your requisition, under Alberta's Health Information Act.
Your home-visit price is confirmed when we confirm your booking. Many health spending accounts accept our receipts.

Can you draw blood from young children?
Yes. Tell us your child's age when you book and we will allow extra time for a calm visit.
Do I need a requisition?
Yes. Have the requisition from your child's dentist, surgeon or physician ready at the visit.
Can I stay with my child?
Yes. A parent or guardian should be with your child for the whole visit.
Who sees the results?
Results go to the provider on the requisition through the lab. Blood Tech Diagnostics does not receive or keep your results.
Blood Tech Diagnostics Inc. is an independent mobile lab collection service. Children's Dental Health Centre is a separate clinic and is responsible for your medical care, prescriptions and test orders.
